for me x264 better,more clear artifact a bit.but x265 is smallzer in size, so ur choice quality(x264) or small size (x265)

Hi there, I don’t want to be an expert wannabe, but can I ask something, did you compare your encode with SWTYBLZ encode, it seems your encode is a little bit overexpose in bright part compare with SWTYBLZ encode based on the screenshot, maybe they use different filter/algoritm than you use. Sorry if I’m wrong.

I don’t have a 5.1 speakers. Is there a significantly noticeable change in sound comparing this to a normal 1080p 6CH?
I think it’s because HDR compress very well compared to SDR
Also I heard AC3 produces louder audio, and with significantly increased audio bitrate, you will get clearer sound too
what do you recommend i download? there are 2 avengers 1080p downloads. the one from here, UHD bluray, and the normal bluray. There isn’t much difference in the size as the other one is 3.8gb while this one is 4.06gb. I already downloaded the 3.8gb one though… Should I give this 4.06gb one a chance?

Nah, it’s different encoding method, the 1080p using x264 and the 1440p using x265 which in general means smaller size with the same or even higher quality
I appreciate your work.But 4GB is big. if there’s a chance to convert to 1080p x265 8bit. I would be grateful

It’s pretty small in size and also considered a bit-starved encode for a three fucking hours long movie! You either take it or download the 720p one.
