You know what,
first thing that crossed in my mind
whenever I hear a victorian sci-fi movie/ show is
steampunk, such as these movies:

but apparently none of such thing exist in this show.
Well, maybe a little.
That’s why I’m a bit disappointed, frankly.

Anyway, in this past future storyline,
Whedon’s trying to give you a new kind
of alternate universe plot/ reincarnation, you decide it.
And basically in the first season,
it’s all about the origin of the main character
and her companians
(sort of Xavier’s gifted school only for hot chicks).
So don’t expect many spectacles in the first season.
But I believe the tension will escalate
in the next season.

it’s also starred by my favorite redhead actress,
Eleanor Tomlinson.

Episodes 7 to 12 of The Nevers was released online a few days ago. They’re not broadcast on tv, only online. Hope to see the series completed on Pahe soon 🙂 Thank you!

Appranently all the part 2 episodes are only available in 720p where they are steaming (TUBI). All the 1080p compies online are just poor upscales of this sourse.
We’re going to have to wait for better quality without a stupidly placed channel watermark!
Are you sure about there only being upscales from 720p to 1080p? Have you taken a look at the “-BTN” releases?
I agree with what you said about the watermark. How could they think that it was a good decision to place it there?
Baffles me how and why they completely screwed this series in the butt. 6 episodes aired in early 2021 and then nothing since then. I thought this series was never going to see more episodes and that it was cancelled and abandoned.
I’m pretty sure yes. TUBI doesn’t stream above 720p and seeing as it’s the only place to watch part 2 right now all 1080 labelled rips will be an upscale.
The BTN ones, I tried out the 720 & 1080 and it’s pretty obvious watching on a big screen. It’s not awful, just well worth waiting for a better source. Especially with that watermark yess! Guessing they placed it there as they knew this would be shared around online so thought, “lets ruin it for them!”
Two things ended this series. First was all the stuff around Whedon when they were filming resulting in next to no promotion for part 1 so next to no people knew about it.
And then recently HBO are having major debt problems so are having to cut a load of shows. We’re not getting the last series of Westworld because of this.
Any news on the back half of S1 at better qualities? It’s been a week since the last post…
I DL-ed 480’s posted on rmz just after the release – there are also 720 and 1080 links available but I assume those are upscales as mentioned above based on when they awere posted.

An update for anyone based in the UK, the full 12 episodes are streaming for free on ITVX. Yet to watch part 2 yet but I’m going to guess that the quality will be better than the majority of the sources available online, as they all came from Tubi which streams at 720p and the frame rate wasn’t correct.
Also, I’ve seen newer uploads of part 2 that might have used Amazon as a source, as it was streaming on the Canadian Amazon last year. The file sizes are all just too big for me!

I already have this series in 480p with the first 6 eps downloaded in 2021 and eps 7 to 12 in 2023 (according to the time time of the files). I cannot remember where I have downloaded them originally from.

EPs 7-12 that you have will be from the Tubi streams, I downloaded the same at the time. I couldn’t watch them due to the incorrect frame rate (it was awful!) and have been waiting since to watch the backend of the series. Up to Episode 5 on the rewatch tonight :).
I have this “thing” about registering to sites to watch videos so ITVX is really not for me (nor IPLAYER for the same reason).
For non UK based people, I can see no reason why they cannot use a VPN to circumvent geo-blocking to watch quality streaming from ITVX should they wish to try (I have not try that).
I checked TUBI but they don’t have this series anymore if they had it in the past. Checked my bookmarks of video sites (many of them are now dead but I am too lazy to do any house keeping) and found a streaming site still have this series. Have checked part 2 (eps 7-12) and they are still active. Quality are not great but watchable and also, audio is very slightly advanced. Google search for SRSTOP to find its domain.
I’m doing the complete season from Amazon. Just wait for it and stop giving a hard time to yourself.
