The original cartoon came out in 1937, and very evidently so. There’s a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird! Weird! So we didn’t do that this time.
We have a different approach to what I’m sure a lot of people will assume is a love story just because we cast a guy in the movie. All of Andrew’s scenes could get cut, who knows? It’s Hollywood, baby.
We absolutely wrote a Snow White that… she’s not going to be saved by the prince, and she’s not going to be dreaming about true love; she’s going to be dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be and that her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave and true.
Also, if I’m going to stand there 18 hours in a dress of an iconic Disney princess, I deserve to be paid for every hour that it is streamed online.

Uh oh one of the movies triggered Pahe’s resident crying adult boy again. This time it was… Snow White and a teenage actress. Watch as he yells racial slurs for attention again.
The level it would absolutely, masssssively, suck to be like this almost inspires sympathy. Just a stunning portrait of a man who’s never been touched and hates himself for it.
The positive is that it serves as a reminder to everyone else to go outside and be nice to others, and allow people to be nice to you too, so you don’t psychologically rot in a ditch like this one.
