Ok India you surprised me. This is a great attempt at superhero genre. The lack of budget is evident apparently its just 2 millon in dollers. Still has pulled off a great orgin story for both superhero and supervillan, with obvious similarities to many orgin stories. Yet refreshing.
It was great fun to watch a superhero orgins set in rural india of the past. Also its amazing to see both villain and hero running around in slippers ?, which is apt for India’s weather.
If I was an Indian i won’t be too worried with the racist comments from youngsters born in colonial and slave mentality cultures towards their western masters. One can only feel sorry for such nations and their total erosion of their own culture.
“Cringe” word they use is a highly simplified word they use to articulate their intolerance towards any other culture/civilization apart from western and its clone civilizations.
