  1. Thank yooouuu! Big time respect and thanks to you, admin. Now all three (official) cuts are here!

  2. Thanks for this… but the European cut is the shortest of all… a full 10 minutes shorter than the theatrical cut. So it’s really not something true DOTD fans like… not when it’s missing scenes they might remember.

That being said, I could not help but notice there are no classic MARX BROTHERS films here even when there are some obscure silent films from the 1920s. Surely an omission! 😉

    Thanks for all you do!!

    • It’s a different way to watch the film, emphasizing the action a bit more. It’s fine if you don’t like something as much, but trying to say what “true” fans like always sounds pompous and Comic Book Guy-style haughty.

And please, everybody, please try to not make your choices or derive your opinions based off Screenrant listicles.

All the cuts have their merits. This one is skillfully edited by Dario Argento (while the original is of course skillfully edited by Romero) with a different kind of pacing, and it has a killer music score from Goblin that’s not in the other versions. It’s entirely worthwhile.

  3. Thank you. Heads up the second audio track is labeled as Italian but it’s really just a stereo English track. But I think it sounds a little better than the 6 channel English and it’s probably closer to the original mix.
