Wow! I was searching for this series just the other day and realised that it was not released by Team Pahe and was a bit surprised by that considering how great this series is and how big of a following it has. I’m super stoked that this now is available to us all to enjoy. Thanks to each and everyone of the persons/s that made this possible!
Looks fantastic not sure about having it in 4:3 rather than 16:9 though. As someone else posted if this is available in 1080p PLEASE post
i found the vison rips to be very bad at 50gigs per sea i stoped at sea 1 ar 4/3 2.6 gigs per ep
i will grab a test rip from pahe team to see how it comes out
Yes I’ve seen them also comparing 1×01 1080p with the 720p here I could barely notice any difference

Yeah, it’s a shame they didn’t remaster The Gathering (assuming they didn’t). I can do without the other films, but The Gathering was really the pilot – though JMS says otherwise 😉

Correction: JMS did consider The Gathering the pilot. I was thinking of A Call to Arms.
I did some looking and it seems the masters for The Gathering were damaged and/or lost in an earthquake, so the dvd edition is the best we’ll ever see.
There are 1080ps available of this remaster. They’re all in 4:3, as the series was shot. From the screens, there’s a fair bit of variation in quality. If your machine can handle them, the x265s at around 700MiBs an ep. are really excellent (Judging by the screens). That said, these encodes in x264, 720p, aren’t bad at all.
Is it possible to release the new 2023 blu-ray version in 1080p at least?
