Open matte had high ratio than IMAX.
In Open matte, there’s a crop on the left and right sides. I think IMAX is the proper aspect ratio that you get the full screen without crop

Thanks a lot. just a question is there a UHD source for Imax?? cause for infinity war and endgame color contrast was a lot better in UHD. So if u directly use the UHD source for 1080p IMAX that would be better for these 2 movies. Would make it easier for you I guess. You could maybe do that for infinity war since this one is already done..

It’s just a personal opinion, I think that IMAX is better for TV if you want to see a full size image, without the black bars. Because the IMAX version gives you more image top and down, once they remove the black bars, it’s not a Zoom of the image, it’s a display of more content, also there are some sound improvements. Thankfully Disney made a deal with the IMAX company, and they will only release this version on streaming (Disney+). I hope that I helped.

Too many version for one movie. I think I’m already satisfiy with my current collection: Avengers.Endgame.2019.1440p.UHD.BluRay.x265.HDR.DD5.1-Pahe.in. I will let this version passed.
