This again, delusional kpop fans, the og webtoon writer Joo Dong-Geun have said in the past QnA it has very small similarities theme to the 2006 manga high school of the dead not the anime. It got extra popular (already very popular at the time) during the netflix adaptation production announcement back in 2020. I’m looking forward to the inevitable added scene that’s not in the webtoon when I finish downloading.
