Hey Cupcake I’ve been here for 5 years and I know Pahe is the best site out there. You don’t think we’ve had to wade though some ad redirects in the past? Yes, Pahe has to make some money to continue in operation but when someone tried 7-8 times and goes through 10-12 tries, has done everything they could in terms of browser and VPN settings only to end up at a dead end website then it doesn’t help Pahe if long time visitors want to throw up their hands in frustration because they can’t get to a download.

Thanks for responding. Whenever I get to oii.la I get stuck at Taboola. I have shut down everything I can from uBlock, to Firefox’s “enhanced tracking” to the malware protection in the VPN. If I back out of Taboola I have to the the Captcha again at oii.la which takes me back to Taboola.
If I click the download button at oii.la it takes me to sgoew.employmehnt.com which says click allow if I’m not a robot but disappears before I can find any “allow” button. So everything seems to be a deadend. Any help would be appreciated. Why do I use the VPN? Because I got caught once using Bittorrent.
was that Taboola opens in new tab? Remember, any site that opens in new tab in your way getting the links are just ads. Close them and only trust links that open in same tab.
Works fine. I’ve never not been able to get a file. Use Firefox browser . Works no issues.
Many site access problems stem from location. Certain sites are blocked in certain regions and there’s not much you can do about that. Clever VPN use can help you get past these blocks sometimes, but not always.
It doesn’t help that some of the hosts used on this site have been disabled or have simply gone bust and vanished. Jumping through all the click hoops to get to a dead link is a pain in the ass, but this site is huge and when a host goes down fixing all the holes left behind is a monumental expectation.
For me the occasional flirtation with intrusive ads has been a bugbear. click on a link and an endless succession of popups and popunders appear like they’re being vomited out of a clown car will pretty much make me snarl, at which point a stern word would be forthcoming but only because such actions are hostile and intrusive. The balance to that is understanding reality. Redirects are security. This isn’t Amazon. be realistic about where you are.
If you hit a roadblock or come across a page that is all dead, post a polite request for a fix or an alternative host. It may take a while but keep monitoring and searching and at some point the fix will be provided or a new page with fresh links will appear.
