A. A. Milne invented the character and wrote the books (and poems). The majority of these have entered the public domain now, hence this film existing. Nothing to do with Disney.
Although this film looks like complete trash the directer made the smart move to use a character that pretty much everyone knows to gain public attention. It worked and he’s banked a decent amount of cash.
We’ve now got horror versions of Bambi and Peter Pan to look forward to.
I stand by what I said. They know nobody read the books. They know that this is targeting the movies. Next is Bambi, from what I understand. Now how many of you read the book, Bambi? Yes, that’s what I thought.
