hi, sorry for being a noob.. I have a question..
I have download UHD 2160p x265 and when I opened it file on my laptop, the video become darker than UHD 1080p x264.. Is x265 are special video that can only be play by certain condition??
and is remastered and UHD are the same or just a small difference between them??
you will need a proper HDR screen. Other way you can use latest Pot Player to simulate the HDR color.
That’s because your monitor doesn’t support 2160p .
and answering your question , REMASTERED is a better version when “compared” to previous one and UHD is just…. UHD.?

if it’s darker then you will have to brighten the video using Intel Graphics command center.
@Gwen Get MPV player and use tone-mapping… @Neil Darker doesnt mean we must own a 4k monitor… Not all 4k monitor support HDR… Pls get it right…

Do create one using notepad and copy the tone-mapping and save as mpv.config (same location as mpv.exe)

1) Open notepad and copy these:
tone-mapping=reinhard
tone-mapping-param=0.65
2) Save the notepad as mpv.conf inside the mpv folder (same folder as fonts.conf).
3) The HDR can be played without HDR monitor!
4) Celebrate and say my name (yey)!

YES YES YES THanks so MUCH 4 Transformers in HDR, I Love these movies & i watch them all in HDR 4K already with IAMABLE & TERMiNAL last summer that r way big files but they were awsome to watch & i happy you start to encode them to your amazing encodes & smaller sizes, you ROCK & YOUR SITE ROCKS!!!!
