Is it worth to watch?
If you’ve read the books it’s probably at least worth watching the first season (I’m gonna wait till it’s finished airing and binge it all).
It’s not GOT though, it’s high fantasy with less politics and more magic and follows ‘The Chosen One’ trope. It’s in the top 5 of long running fantasy books I’d say.
Nothing like the Shannara series, or Legend of the Seeker (based on Sword of Truth books). Both of those are amateur rubbish fantasy books and TV series.
In response to…
a highly demanded epic-saga sci-fi or fantasy
typed of movie/ show,
Amazon’s decided to take a big leap
and jump into the tightest competition
in the film industry.
And one of the reasons why
Amazon’s launching this type of show,
is because this type of show/ movie
is one of the most profitable genres
in the film industry,
along with superheroes genre, of course.
So no wonder,
many companies are vigorously competing
to get the biggest slice of the cake.

Basically I love watching
(considered) unknown franchise dare to challenge
well-known and well-established franchises
But please, don’t take this in a wrong way,
this show is deserved to put on a test first
and let’s see how its performances
along the way.
And here are the constellation so far:

all the untouched sources
particularly in epic-saga sci-fi or fantasy show.
But it will be dropped into encoded version
or even deleted,
if turned out the show doesn’t have a prospect.
So my final thought is,
this show deserves to get a chance
to be observated and enjoyed.

Please put 1080p x264 versions too cause many smart TV’s can’t open x265 files.

The TV has nothing to do with the format or codecs. The built in apps may have issues with it, but it’s not the TV.
Use VLC or MPC-HC.
And Fried Rice… there are phones that can’t send SMS.. they’re called rotary and push button.
i wish if you guys kept doing 1080p in x264. for the greater good of a wider audience

And also why it’s called Wheel of Time, is there any time manipulation element (time travel, time control, etc) in it?
