And it’s never gonna come in 1080p x265? Got it.
A lot of televisions in asia does not read 265 yet so most prefer the more stable 264 despite the larger size.
@Mighty Action X – Goddamn it! It has nothing to do with asia, europe, or america. It’s just a matter of willingness to upgrade the device or personal choice and that’s it. I prefer x264 because the source is also x264.
I prefer x265 because it works in both my old devices as well as my new ones. And 1080p becau6 it provides the best quality with low size. Pahe has good movies as well as tv series with softcoded english subtitles but almost 95% of them are in mere 720p. Many prefer 720p, I guess that’s why Pahe doesn’t upgrade.
@Henry – Then in my case, I’d prefer x265 only if it’s way more superior than x264. I mean, it has a same or even bigger file size than x264 that obviously contains a higher bitrate than x264, plus with extra 10-bit setting.
Then I’ll grab x265 without a second thought.
