Hi, before i asked you this question believe me i searched Google a lot and i couldn’t find a straight answer. So that’s why i asked you because you’re an encoder, a great one actually, so you understand everything videos playback related. I want to buy a new CPU to run the 4k encodes. Should i look for the number of cores or threads? and what is the lowest number to handle 4k videos without the CPU going 100% usage ?
any Intel/AMD CPU released after 2017 should be able to play 4K/H.265 videos without any trouble/CPU hogging. But to experience HDR you will need an HDR monitor

even actually Intel Celeron can play 4K HDR with Bigger RAM
playing UHD movies need Big size of RAM
minimum is 4GB of RAM

Thanks for the Great upload. But the video gets stuck exactly at 52.40 and the same stuck persists until I forward to approximately 01.01.00. After that point, the video goes fine. I ‘ve tried two different devices, A 4k TV and a desktop, the same happens on both. Am i the only one facing this issue? or it has something to do with the video file itself? (i downloaded 1080p x265 10Bit DD5.1 | 2.00 GB Version)
