Agree. It’s more for reddit manchildren though, with funko pop collections, who love Ted Lasso and the Kingsmen. And all the criticisms of Snyder trying to make his too realistic, yet this has War, cloning, arms trafficking, the aforementioned violence, and destruction of Metropolis even worse than Snyder’s much maligned battle between Supes and Zod. If James Gunn puts Batman into this dumbass Suicide Squad kooky landscape, we riot. They shoulda just let him done a ‘Justice Gang’ movie without Superman. That’s more his speed. Silly fun. Like someone else said, it IS disrespectful to the character, indeed. They even ruined the Kent farm FFS, made it into Napoleon Dynamite’s house. man, Fuck this movie and fuck James Gunn.
