the uhd looks weird on tv.
I’m pretty sure 4:3 is the only aspect ratio for that version of the movie. I don’t think it’s masked on the sides to get that shape, it’s already opened up. It’s about as opened up as you can get.
it can have cropped it manually & made it Full Screen (16:9)
maybe it can be done in spare time pahe encoder
anindya — I very much doubt Admin would take the time to custom edit a movie like this. But if you want to do it yourself:
Download the software Handbrake for either mac or windows. In Handbrake, load the Justice League video and first set the quality to what you want (I suggest Matroska, then whichever h.264 or h.265 quality you want).
Then go to Video tab and set Framerate (FPS) to “same as source”.
Then go to Dimensions tab and set cropping to Custom and then crop the top and bottom until it says “Aspect Ratio: 16:9” just below. — It will probably be close to setting the bottom crop to 136 and the top crop to 134 (or vice versa) Make sure the left and right cropping are set to 0.
You can see a preview of how the picture will be cropped in the Summary tab.
Then press Start when you’re ready to make a new MKV file. It might take some hours, depending on your computer power.
You’re removing a lot of picture information from the top and bottom of the image, but if this is what you want, then gosh speed.
I forgot to say, you select the quality (Matroska, etc) at the top of Handbrake with the “Preset” pulldown menu.

Hopefully Scream 4 in 4K comes out next year. Scream 4 is owned by a different studio, Lionsgate, while Paramount owns all the others. But they are good about releasing their catalogue in 4K.
