Well, I liked it. Cheers! Zach Snyder is no Director of Photography though. The movie looks pretty cheap and crappy, with blown out lighting everywhere, dull colours. He should stick to directing and writing and let someone who actually studied operate the camera. Will be interesting to see if the blueray improves the aesthetic.

I’ve seen worse but holy fuck watching this was like watching a little girl/boy’s sci-fi fanfic they wrote and doodled on their notebook in the middle of class while daydreaming.
The effects weren’t bad though. And good sci-fi is so rare nowadays so I guess I’ll take what I can get. At least Sophia Boutella was hot to look at and “Nemesis” (what a fucking edgelord highschooler name, round of applause for the amazing snyder-man) at least had a cool pair of swords and a neat korean looking hat.
The biggest surprise is that they actually got THE sir Anthony Hopkins (of Hannibal and Thor’s ODIN fame) to actually agree to be part of this shitshow. THEY SHOULD’VE FOCUSED ON HIM! COOL ANTHONY HOPKINS WAR ROBOT SUDDENLY TURNED PACIFIST! AND CHARLIE HUNNAM! HE WAS ROBBED AGAIN! FIRST PACIFIC RIM, THEN HIS SOULSBORNE “KING ARTHUR” MOVIE, NOW THIS?! My man deserved better.
I also read somewhere that there’s a Director’s Cut version that was entirely different than this or is this the director’s cut? Maybe that version’s better because this version is 3edgy5me.
