I came to see if anyone else said this. Yes this UHD is really poor and actually a bit of a downgrade. Grab it here if you want to compare, but unfortunately don’t expect a better presentation.

Alexi – bro or ma’am, the source is 35mm film. ? Plenty of movies that were shot on film look great when scanned and restored for 4K and have good looking high dynamic range. Disney just did a negligent job in touching up this film scan, and the HDR isn’t the main problem with it.

The HDR colour grading doesn’t even enhance the film. It looks a lot bland than the bluray.
The bluray is more reflective of the original intent. DNR use is unacceptable!
Disney is just lazy with 4ks and promote people to join Disney+.
THAT’S WHY, DON’T GET THE 4K!
