what a great classic
As a big fan of Sean Connery’s 007,
I watched almost all of its rip-off movies.
Among so many ’60s 007 rip-off movies,
these Flint duology movies are the closest one.
You can easily spot every scene/ formula
that the director tried to emulate
from Dr. No (1962) to Thunderball (1965).
The exotic island, sexy girls in bikini, and many more.
But, there’s nothing as subtle and naughty
as Sean Connery in hitting (flirting/ seducing) a girl.

Now, what most interested me about this movie was
the actor James Coburn, who was used as a reference
in Superman : The Animated Series.
Under the name John Corbin/ Metallo, by Bruce Timm.
