Most overrated movie of this year imo. Not as good as everyone says it is.
Just as you say its overrated, somebody else will say its underrated. Nobody is right or wrong, everything is subjective.
And that’s why I said ‘in my opinion’ you stupid fuck. No one will say this mediocre movie is underrated. Everyone hyped it like it was some great film just because Alex Garland made it. Like this director can do no wrong.
What i meant is rather than say that something is overrated, its better to mention if you hate/love it, that way your opinion would be valid. How do we decide if something is overrated/underrated? If you hate something that everybody else likes, it only shows that you don’t like it, not that its overrated.

You can dislike whatever you want. My only issue is with the word overrated, its used so frequently nowadays that it loses its meaning. How do you even come to the conclusion that something is overrated? Its not as straightforward as looking at box office earnings to determine if a movie if a flop or a hit.
Honey the word overrated shows that you mean to represent other people opinions too, not just yours. Using the term overrated means that you are saying other people shouldn’t have liked this movie while that is not true because everybody has their own opinion. In this case you are the one who don’t know what you are talking about 🙁
