Bad upbringing is right. It was very early on in life when I saw that raising a kid to be prejudiced is a form of child abuse. Not hyperbole and no exaggeration. It cages a person’s intellectual, emotional, and social development in such a profound way. Turns a kid into a pariah among the classmates who actually know how to be cool with and learn from one another, and that shunned kid turns into the kind of adult who’s absorbed in bitterness and (among so much other unpleasant shit) gets triggered by disney cartoons.
