People are just sad and lonely. It’s extremely clear to see that people who post or say shit like that, attempting to spread pain, are in deep pain themselves. Whether they even have the ability to see it in themselves or not. And honestly if someone has to resort to posting edgelord trolly shit in a comment section in order to feel something while sitting alone at their computer, then they’re prob not smart enough for honest self-reflection.
Not to say that it calls for any empathy. It’s like catching a stranger crying on the bus, but with the relief of knowing they’ve at least earned their sadness and there’s nothing you can do to help. They can feel better in their lives and work on themselves mentally and emotionally and socially if they want to, but it’s not our problem or in our ability to help.
My philosophy is: let them drown, and feel relief and gratitude that you’re not in that kind of situation yourself. I see this and my first reaction is like, “god damn it would suck to be like that.” and at least that makes it mildly funny and then you can just keep walking along. These random untouched sad boys crying on this corner of the internet shouldn’t be any of our business. Engaging only gives them something to emotionally jerk off to.

Hey you, yes this is a good film, funny and all round good time. I can recommend it. John Boyega is great, Jamie Foxx is obviously gonna be good but the standout is the lady, she’s really good.
I think this movie found a balance between comedy and drama that is very rare to see. excellent performances, cinematography and soundtrack. The movie’s message is very obvious, but they don’t get heavy with it, they just have fun without disrespecting it. a real surprise.
