completely forgot about this movie after watching the trailer many months ago. didn’t even hear about it when it was in theaters

This movie isn’t especially good, but it’s definitely not as bad as the IMDb score might suggest. Don’t get overwhelmed by the low score and just try to watch it. That low score is mostly from people who have played the game and was expecting too much. Read IMDb’s user reviews and you would see that many of them wrote that is movie is too underrated.
Just don’t expect too much; almost all game-based movies (like Resident Evil) are not as good as the game and most of them have different story details.
Luckily… I never play the game. So is worth to watch. I think. Thank you…
