What Comanche dub ?
the default language for the movie is in english, but the audience can use that comanche dub to feel the comanche language. just like avatar movie that use another language.

To clear some things up from the movie released. NO, there is NO alternate version where scenes have been filmed entirely in the Comanche language. That was misunderstood and falsely overhyped by dumb youtubers.
The director clearly stated that
“The film was shot in English and Comanche, with the entire cast performing an alternate all-Comanche DUB of the film.” so just the spoken language can be chosen. There is no different cut where their lips are moving to the Comanche language. They’d have to film each scene twice and exactly the same way which would’ve cost twice as more. Yet this is a lower budgeted Predator movie.
This is from a cast interview. If it is misleading, it is certainly not people being “dumb”. The below sounds pretty categoric, so it is probably just unintentionally poor phrasing:
“While the default version that will be offered to Hulu users in the U.S. (and Disney+ users in the UK) will feature all of the lead actors speaking in English with smatterings of actual Comanche (as well as some French), every scene was alternatively filmed with actors like Midthunder and Dakota Beavers, who plays Naru’s courageous brother Taabe, speaking the same lines in Comanche.
When we ask Myers if she thinks that is the definitive cut of the movie, she says, “I think, for me, yes absolutely. Because this is the first time that a brand new feature film coming out has ever been in my language in Comanche, and this is also a first for Native people because this is the first time a brand new movie is out in a Native language. So I recommend that you watch it two times. Watch it once in Comanche and once in English.”

Yes, I get the misunderstanding. In the part you wrote it even states they filmed “lines” in Comanche, not new scenes. What the actress was trying to clarify is that they themselves filmed the Comanche Dubbed version and not a different cast. Usually a dub is filmed with entirely different actors in the roles. But for this movie, I think most of the tribe cast, they used the same actors.
It’s highly unlikely that the studio would release a Comanche Dub if they already had a Comanche Spoken Language version in the first place.
This film should be in Comanche, and the English audio is the dub version. Sigh, what a missed opportunity.

Given the infos, personally I prefer x264.
And if you take a look at 2160p x265 source,
it’s also 8-bit.
So I guess 10-bit setting doesn’t give any improvement.
But generally speaking, x265 is more than enough,
for one-time movie-watching experience.
And on a scale of one to ten,
this franchise is not worth archiving.
