It is movie based on polish book “Pan Tadeusz” genius polish poet Adam Mickiewicz. It is best of the best of his masterpieces. Book has 300 to 400 pages every line on every page has 13 syllable. What is more every line has rymes and othe poetic style. It is written i polish of corse so it is not know abroad. That guy died before Nobel prize era, he would won it for sure. Poem is about Poland a beautiful home with beautiful culture and awsome peoples. There is intrique there is love,. Quite simple but nice to look at. As for film it is as good as it was possible to make a movie from poem. Watch it in polish with your language subtitles. You will hear language rythm and maybe feel what lies inside of every polish heart.
