Admn why are @1080p files so large. One site that I was following before being closed was encoding 1080p files at less than 2gb depending on the duration of the movie. This exact movie was encoded at 1.8gb for 1080p by that encoder. I am not downloading this but I find all 1080p files very large from pahe. So is it possible to encode at lesser GB for 1080p files or if done quality is compromised?

Seriously, I hate to see these kind of complain. Of course quality wise t will be compromised. If “GB” is your main concern, just download x265 1080p instead, or even 720p. You need to understand there are reasons as to why different movies come with different sizes. Even the RAW sources are different is sizes for each movie. Pahe have done a good job improving their releases over time. Please dont ask Pahe to go downhill. In fact, I myself wish all releases are available in 1080p with min 448kbps AC3 in Pahe, which I know is impossible right now. I know for sure Pahe have a standard quality that rival cant match when compare with such small sizes. Thank you Pahe.
