It’s clear that the demise of UptoBox has had a significant effect on this site. the fact that you had to shut your dead links reporting page is evidence of that. I’m sure everyone sympathises with the problem.
However, the note on the dead link page that uptobox is experiencing admin issues and will be restored is delusionally optimistic. It has gone the way of MegaUpload, RapidGator and Zippyshare.
Restoring all those missing uploads will be a herculean task. I don’t envy it. In the meantime however you must address the situation in a more sympathetic manner because there is no way for users to tell what links are working and what aren’t. Even when these dead links are identified and raised in comments you don’t do anything.
Right now a user clicks on a link and goes to a countdown page. They click on a new link and go to a nnew countdown page. Rinse and repeat to yet another countdown page only this time with the added bonus feature of a recapture [and whose bright bloody idea was that? Even if it afforded any new protections – which is doubtful – picking google’s captcha solution was a lazy thinking option that gets in the way of user operation. Google’s solution is a resource hogging datamining nightmare that more often than not spins away its wheel of doom unless you disconnect any other online task/activity and disable any ad/tracker protections.
You’ve made everything even more time consuming and clumsy more often than not to come to a complete dead end.
It’s downright unfriendly.
No one is expecting you to fix all dead links instantly. But this state of affairs can’t be allowed to continue.
Create a holding page that acknowledges the links broken, that state has been noticed and will be fixed at the first available opportunity. Advise users to check back. This isn’t a difficult thing to do. Your CSS gives you a standing template. You just need to add some text, upload it and make it live. From there it’s simply a cut and paste edit to existing page links.
When a page is flagged as being dead that you cannot fix then simply swap out the dead links for a link to this holding page then make a note and add the production to your fix list. At leas then people won’t waste their time wading through your endless process only to come up to an empty box at the end of their effort.
Either that or delete link buttons to dead ends.
The current situation can’t be seen as anything but bad for everyone.
I just fixed all season links. Thanks to the good guy who sent me the back-ups.

I came across this series only this afternoon when someone from Canada contacted me via Whatsapp if I can get a download of this series if possible. Download of all 5 seasons successful however, season 3 GD batch give season 1 archive instead and I stopped the download once I realised this. Continue to season 4 & 5 successfully and then back to season 3 download via 1D per eps link as a batch archive successfuly.
