i always love studio ghibli movies, but the only reason i’m not watching this movie is the 3DCG art, studio ghibli has their own unique anime art that defines its beauty and that can launch the story into 200% better than it is as it is…
but not this movie, this ain’t a Disney Pixar movie FFS, why did they even do this
tf, its not like you pay to watch these movies, just watch and stop complaining
i actually like the animation but from what i gather everyone hating not because of the animation because of sudden ending when the movie just had a climax.
ok i actually fans of studio ghibli too and i love this movie, yes the movie kind of end in the 2/3 of the movie lol but i actually love the movie.
my advice just watch the movie knowing that everyone hate the ending and give it a try maybe you’ll be like me that still like this movie despite that.
I think this film is not bad, both from the development of the characters and the world in this story I don’t think it is lost in the “ghibli” impression that has been getting from their work in 2D animation. If the problem of changing the animation style, I think the quality of the animation can be said to be competitive and again instead of the Japanese 3D animation style it is like this, maybe actually what is still lacking is in the part of the story which can be considered bear, I think if only the story in anime could be presented for a long time and give a little clarity about the background of Aya’s mother, and her closeness to Aya after separating, then this story will be better and will not have a plot hole in the end (which many people may hate)
