Dear admins,
Don’t take it bad but this extended version of the movie “Dune” is nearly unbereable to watch, it’s not the David Lynch movie, but a cut that has been made against his will, fucking up the editing like hell : it includes shots that should have never been used, that in particular makes this cut horribly redundant in every scene and in the storytelling. And it lacks some of the good scenes also. It wanna be more faithful to the book but it’s a sad joke. Did you even watch it? I doubt it, I couln’t stand it to for more than one hour. Lynch refused it so hard because of this weaknesses that this version is only credited to Alan Smithee asr director and Judas Booth for the screenplay.
I strongly advise you to upload the theatrical cut by Lynch, because this is shit…

Just a vote to include the 2000 SciFi miniseries “Frank Herbert’s Dune”. I’ve not seen it – didn’t know it existed – but apparently it won an emmy. Also, it seems there’s an extended director’s cut.
