Why not list your 2020 version of the “1440p UHD HDR” here as well….?
All the 1440p UHD HDR releases that you have made in the past was of excellent quality, and actually much, much better than that of the present 1080P HDR x265 releases.

Dear Admin,
In these encodes you have cropped the black bars out. That can mess up Dolby Vision.
There are two options. Either NOT CROP the black bars. Or you can simply fix DV metadata (crop the RPU using dovi_tool, or DDVT UI. For more details: forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=1962689&postcount=47)

This has been fixed in 2023-2024 releases
If anyone’s having Dolby Vision problems, correcting RPU crop values might fix it.

For example, in this release crop values are as follows:
“active_area_left_offset”: 0,
“active_area_right_offset”: 0,
“active_area_top_offset”: 280,
“active_area_bottom_offset”: 280
Those values are correct for the original Bluray video stream: 3840×2160 frame, 3840×1600 active area. (2160-1600=560 -> 280 top + 280 bottom)
But as this encode doesn’t have black bars, all offsets should be 0. 1920×800 frame, 1920×800 active area.
Hope it made sense.

Admin I have a douth – Even Total CGI film avatar is 13 gb but this Blade runner and godfather are above 15 gb , not complaining about file size but just want to know any specific reason for this
movie grain is the reason why it needs a lot of bitrate
With Av1 you can synthesize the grain and save a ton of space with excellent quality. Have you considered doing some experimental AV1 encoding?
