Nice! Thanks for sharing theatrical version. :]

  3. Thank you for the theatrical cut, looked for it everywhere couldn’t find it. Hope you will do more of them.

  4. Amazing! The theatrical cut is the best way to watch this classic.

  5. What the f**k? Dude you read my mind!! Just yesterday I was having a conversation with my friend about how I couldn’t find the Theatrical Cut anywhere, and today you uploaded it.

Thanks a ton!! Keep up the good work!!

    • Yo heisenberg , i’ve never seen this movie before , and can you help me why i should watch the theatrical than the final cut version?

    • The theatrical cut is the preferred version for most people as there are no pacing issues. It’s great from start to finish. The redux cut and final cut adds a lot of unnecessary scenes which slow down the pacing. The first watch should be the theatrical and then later you can watch the other cuts and decide for yourself.

Anybody has a solution for that when downloading through GD?

  7. too bad, bahasa indonesia subtitle is translated by a moron, so good luck enjoying the movie

  8. Audio is out of sync after 02:06:55

  9. This is very much appreciated.

Like Heisenberg, I had long been searching for the Theatrical Cut.

Yes Audio is out of sync late in the film. Sometimes when an avc video file and aac audio file are out of sync late in the movie gradually getting further out of sync as time goes on you can extract both files to raw format and change the avc video’s framerate either down or up (usually down) from 23.976 to 23.975 or 23.974 then remux and it will fix the issue (not always). You can also try 23.977 or 23.978 if the fix two attempts don’t work. Hope it works because this is the best version and hard to find. Maybe if enough of us comment on the error we can get the admin to do a new copy and come up with a fix (most likely different source file). The audio is out -.500ms at the previously mentioned time stamp admin. It seems to get futher out in the remaining run-time but its hard to tell with so little dialog past the 2h55m mark. Hopefully the mux FR change works for us, it will be a shame to have a bad copy of such a classic. You can also delay the audio in most video playes like VLC but of course thats no fix.

  11. please fix the sync audio framerate

  12. Yeah, the audio is sadly out of sync after 2h6m or so. So sad.

  13. Has the audio desync been fixed yet?!

  14. Fix the thing or upload a new file that has no issues.

  15. Come on, man. If you can’t fix the problem at least upload a new copy. Maybe WEB-DL from streaming services.

  16. Aim: To address the problem of unsynchronised audio from 02:06:55, as mentioned by other comments.
After a lot of trials,I was finally able to produce a copy of the film (720p only) with rectified audio and resynced subtitles. In my copy, I have also has compressed audio, to make the dialogues more prominent, and action scenes less loud. If you just want to download the film hassle-free; then click on the following Gdrive link and enjoy 🙂

Here’s how I synchronised the audio:
    1) Install Avidemux & import the Pahe movie file there.

    2) Notice the timeline below. At 00:00:00 timestamp, click on the “start marker”. At 02:06:55 timestamp, click on the “end marker”. Now export the selected movie part (from 00:00:00 to 02:06:55) by clicking on File –> Save.

    3) After saving the 1st part of the movie, return to Avidemux. This time, click the “start marker” at 02:06:55 timestamp, and “end marker” at the end (02:33:47). On the left pane, go to the audio section, and tick “Delay”. Fill in the audio delay as 820ms. Now export this modified movie part (from 2:6:55 to 2:33:47) by clicking on File –> Save.

    4) Exit Avidemux altogether. Re-open Avidemux and import the 1st part of the movie. Now Go to File –> Append and import the 2nd part of the movie. After both parts are merged on the timeline, go to File –> Save

    5) Voila! Your new movie file with rectified audio is ready! Now the next steps are optional.

    6) Go to subdl and search for the english subtitles of Apocalypse Now. Go to the Bluray section and find “Apocalypse.Now.Original.Version.1979.720p.BluRay.x264-AVS720 (by: cesarcl)”
Or, you can go to this link directly and download the subs: https://dl.subdl.com/subtitle/502996-1369842.zip

    7) Extract the subs using winrar, and import it to https://subtitletools.com/subtitle-sync-shifter

    8) Put the “shift” value as 15100ms. Click on “Shift” and download the modified subtitle.

    9) Re-import the modified subtitle to https://subtitletools.com/partial-subtitle-sync-shifter

    10) Put the starting time as 02:06:55 and end time as 02:33:50. Put the delay value as 3200ms. Click on shift and download the final subtitle. Your subtitle track is ready!

    11) Install shotcut (I use v19.02.28 because of my low-end pc) and import the movie file created at step 5. Go to “Filters –> Limiter”. Set the input gain value to 17.7 dB and the Limit to 6.3

    12) Export the audio as AAC (select sample rate as 44100Hz and bitrate as 128K). Your audio track is ready.

    13) Install MKVToolNixGUI (I use an older version v10.0.0). Import the movie file from step 5, the subtitle file from step 10, and the audio track from Step 12. Untick the audio track of the movie file, and keep the audio file from step 12 ticked. Click on “start multiplexing” and export as an mkv file.

    14) Enjoy your complete package of the movie with rectified + compressed audio and synced subtitles.

P.S: If you find my comment useful and/or have any problems, give a reply.
I would be really grateful if you don;t share my Gdrive link anywhere else on the internet. My Gdrive is more or less personal, and I would really appreciate if my account doesn’t get terminated due to copyright strikes.
