The director who made this movie,
clearly have a lot of talent (passion to be exact)
of making many genre, unlike his rival
George Lucas & James Cameron (mostly sci-fi)
thats including:
– Gladiator (peplum)
– Black Hawk Down (war)
– Original Alien (sci-fi)
But to be honest, this movie just another
“copycat” or “Godfather wannabe”.
or to be exact the combination of
Carlito’s Way & Godfather.
If you like gangster/ crime movies,
especially played by black actors/ people,
Then i suggest you to watch
Black Caesar 70’s (blaxploitation genre)
though its a low budget movie
& mostly underrated.
But to me its a MASTERPIECE
& have the originality.
