thats kind of not the point jackhole. A ton of us have used this site for years now and they’ve never done it in the past, then all of a sudden this greedy move. The site admins get copies off the scene watermark free, the original encoders didnt stamp their tag all over the intro title did they? That would make these PAHE encodes a lot less cool thats for sure. their would be no point putting your name on it then would there? Cause we’d all know it wasn’t theirs wouldn’t we. Then lets say some dumbass burns this copy to a bunch of discs and sells them and gets caught. Now youve got all kinds of extra heat on this site you don’t want and its the next one that gets crushed no matter which corner of the earth it operates from if the wrong power gets your scent you will be done. Best kept secret no more. And thats only one possible scenario. Main point is it ruins the picture, it ruins the art. “they” we all are mostly getting these for free so why be greedy find other ways to bring in the traffic dont ruin the product. most of us would be happy to donate if we could easily and anonymously but sadly a paper trail is risky.
i agree with you. admin should not put watermarks. this has already been discussed before for other movies and then admin had stopped. I completely understandand sympathise with him as other people steal his encodes but putting WM is wrong. Anyway if its only for Webdls I think its okay. But if he starts doing it for Blurays too then its really sad. I just hope he doesnt do it in bluray rips. Cant trust or even know which files will have WM and which wont. thats the worst part. have been coming here for years. so pretty shocked to see such things happen .
Man, I did not think that this is much of an issue. You cant stand a few seconds of watermarks which is almost unnoticeable? This is not like there is some technical issue on the video. you sound like you own the copyright or facing inconvenience to index the movie on your own website. Dude Wake up! You are watching a movie for free and these guys put some effort on to it. It might not be a lot but it is still a work. Why cant they take some liberty which is not a big deal? I also believe that these guys or a guy placing watermark only on the video which they encode themselves. You should not show this arrogance while you are getting a high quality videos for free. After reading many guys mentioning it, Seriously i thought that this has something to deal with technically. But man this is silly!
Aww cmoon.. what’s so big about that tiny, subtle watermark for a few seconds ? While other sites put a big, long colorful signs for a full 10 minutes? Watermark or no watermark, in here you get good resolution movies for free. F O R F R E E . Can’t you guys just enjoy it ? And don’t forget to say thanks to pahe. And if you dont like it as it “ruins” the art (Phew.. i just know that we could get an art for free) then just leave… It’s as simple as that.

We don’t give a rat’s ass who “fixed” them.. as they do not belong to us. We didn’t write them, nor take ownership of them.. so keep your name off the screen.
We can’t keep sharing if people keep sticking their names on things hoping to take credit for work others deem illegal.

Unlike others.. I didn’t get here from a water mark.
But from word of mouth. This site and the team that does the encodes, was pointed out by many in the scene as worthy of it’s quality.
Watermarks destroy that quality. So even if as others may claim “stupid feds” don’t seem to care now, they will if you’re going to stand there waving a flag.
Is it really that hard to keep them clean? If it’s money you need, ad the bare areas of the website to death.. but let’s leave the entertainment clean, shall we?
And no.. it’s not most. Maybe in your arena.. but in mine it’s all clean. In some boards, we don’t allow watermarked media at all.
Maybe those speaking up here, are trying to defend the once higher held standards the site stood for?

when i’ve downloaded the 1080p print, it’s on 1.8gb something. now its gotten above 2gb! is it been upgraded from the previous one admin?

I would love to see an example of someone stealing one of these encodes and taking credit. I’m not saying its never happened but it cant be very common or hurt the site much. I sympathize with the encoder as well if this happens but i refuse to believe thats the reason for the watermark. And if you think BR is WM free go check your 1080p copy of Tenant at the end credits. who knows what other copies. Thats what sucks the most like a previous post we don’t even know which have it and which dont so if you try to avoid them you have to DL multiple copies. I notice one common trend, it always seems to be highly anticipated movies or very popular ones so that would lead one to believe its all about driving site traffic and ad revenue and nothing to deal with stealing and reposting encodes. I honestly wish there was just a easy unrisky way to donate and we’d end this problem quickly. I think a ton of us would donate every month. I would donate just to get the watermarks gone. The people who run this site are much smarter than me theres no doubt so maybe I should just shut my mouth. It just sucks. And that is one of the main reasons why I have downloaded (and collected) my fav movies exclusively from this site since forever. If you guys are to put WM to premieres, WEB-DL and exclusive releases ahead of time, fine, perfect, I support you, but hopefully it is not a permanent thing for BD-Rips and final editions. It is my humble opinion.
