what’s the difference between this new UHD tagged and the previous with non-UHD tagged? i’ve downloaded the latter. all the file sizes seem no difference ?
The difference is the source. This is ripped from a UHD (Ultra High Definition) release, meaning the resolution is 4K. The others from regular Blu Rays, meaning Full HD is the max resolution.
So, ripping from a better source, you might maintain a better picture quality, so that’s the benefit.
tl;dr It might look better than the previous release.
