While this film contains abhorrent acts of homosexuality, I believe the producers wish to spread the message that ultimately, when you commit sins against Islam, it would only lead to an inevitable painful demise as was the case in this movie. Jesus might be considered a minor prophet of Islam but he clearly failed to strongly condemn such sinful acts resulting for the suffering of his followers.

Thank you Pahe for this!!! I read the book first before watching the movie. Both are amazing! I prefer the book than the movie version because they’re some good parts and important dets from the book that are not included in the movie, maybe because of time. But still a good watch! <3
