Why comparing? Do you thing she’s doing films only to be competed with her father? Do you like to be compared with your parents all the time? Don’t think so.
Looking forward to see this film, yeah, for competition. But compared to Elvis (2022) – a rather disappointing film (Hip Hop music in a film about Elvis? Srsly?). And also to see Jacob Elordi in a different role than in Euphoria.

She’s been making well-loved and acclaimed movies with her own style for like 25 years now. It’s not a big deal if someone doesn’t like her films but to continue to compare her to her father as if they’re making the same kinds of movies, or still bringing up her performance in Godfather 3 like it didn’t come down to Francis’s own decisions as a director, is the most boring-ass take you can give about her.
What I’m trying to say is that the only reason why she is even directing films is because of her father. She lives in her father’s shadow… and has a lot of his money to help her get going and keep going. It doesn’t matter if her movies suck or not. She’s just trying to make old daddy proud.
So your innocent little “you don’t want to be compared to your parents” bit doesn’t really apply here. These are celebrities. They are the wealthy elite. They answer to the globalist corporations and most especially, the jews.
Try proof reading what you post before you post it. That way you can fix the spelling mistakes.

Tells a story about “how idols don’t live up to your expectations”.
Okay, watched the film. Mixed feelings. It’s totally (Real-)Priscilla’s “official” Point of view written in their book decades ago and which is known to be wrong at several points. Lisa-Marie didn’t approve this script and so, there was no approval to use any song of Elvis in this film either.
The alternatively chosen music is decend but not always suitable for the time period (e.g. Crimson and Clover a decade lader). And there are several Chanel product placements (mentioned perfume, wedding dress). Being filmed neither in Graceland nor in Germany/Europe but in Canada, there are some serious flaws in the offered pictures. Costumes and acting however was decent, although I had wished to see Elordi in a different way. Spaeny did quite well and it was a huge acting contrast to her role played in Mare of Easttown.
Finally a rather mediocre film. Not bad, but not outstanding. Neither Elvis (2022) nor Priscilla is really worth watching. Too bad. So I will give Elvis (1979) a try…
