  1. all dead. Please restore

  2. Not incorrect. Every time
    https://oii.la
    https://tpi.li/
Are in use my AV and firewall light up like pinball machines and getting rid of the trackers and crap they dump in my browsers and on my HD is a couple of hours work.
As I write, no one is saying you shouldn’t make money but you have MUCH BETTER and less invasive referrers and should use them.
Also I do not “make demands”.
I ask for restoration of dead content. And I am always polite.

It;s your site. Why would you want dead content links and referrers that invade and hijack? Why wouldn’t you want users to tell you of this?

    • @Valerian

Perhaps spend more time correcting your issues or learning to circumvent them if these are possible georestrictions you’re combating, rather than complaining?

  3. Incorrect again.
If what I am saying were not true then you would not have removed the endless popups and overlays on https://oii.la & https://tpi.li/ via policybuzz/Health Shield
That didn’t suddenly happen in a vacuum.

And correcting my issues? These issues are caused by the programming on YOUR referrers. Correcting the fallout from that is what takes bloody hours and why I have been so vociferous about the causes.

Don’t put this on me or try to make it my fault. Georestrictons wouldn’t create endless popups that dump trackers and malware. Overlays causing popups that even covered the captcha puzzles for heaven’s sake!
That’s just aggressive programming with malicious intent for no other reason than making money.
You know it and I know it.

Bottom line. I alerted you to a very real problem that presented a very real threat to your users.
And again, I repeat. No one is saying you shouldn’t make money. Just don’t do it at the expense of your users’ security. Treat users respectfully and most of them will return the courtesy.

And again I point out that I at least have been civil throughout this exchange and have not once descended into personal slur and attack. It’s a disappointment that that courtesy was not returned.

    • @Valerian

No clue as to what sort of control or authority you believe I have.

      But BHB can confirm:

I am just a regular user at this site.

I use other sites, too. In fact, for content not available at this site – either for unavailable backups, lower/alternate resolutions or “cuts” of films, etc – I often refer users to sites other than this one. Soap2DayHD, M4uHD, MkvKing, etc.

Please, remove the tin foil hat(s).

Here are just a short list of your incorrect assumptions:

      – “used by the programming on YOUR referrers”
(I don’t control this site, or the referrers used)
      – “put this on me or try to make it my fault”
(I am not blaming you for things other than you inability to use this site properly)
      – “georestrictons wouldn’t create endless popups”
(they could, depending on your ISP, browser, and settings)
      – “alerted you to a very real problem”
(you are among a few that have problems, MANY DO NOT)
      – “no one is saying you shouldn’t make money”
(I make a substantial amount as a user at this site: $0.00 each day)
      – ‘descended into personal slur and attack. It’s a disappointment that that courtesy was not returned.”
(WHERE HAS THAT HAPPENED BY ME????)

      Dude. Seriously.

Try to help fellow users out, and THIS is the response when YOU’RE the one with issues using this site??

  4. “Dude seriously.”? Jesus, God.

Geio restrictions are caused by individual states blocking sites businesses or ISPs That would not cause any kind of security protocol alert. If people are doiing all they must with regards disabling security software to allow those pernicious elements in the sites to work then of course they are not receiving alerts. They’ve turned everything off!
As for me “not using the site properly. It’s a website, not a Tardis. If I were not using the site properly then everything would flag, not the site that was bombarding the browser with installers from rabid popups on every click, all of which have been miraculously disabled now I have flagged the issue.

If you’re just a regular user of the site bugger off. My impression from your position is you are some sort of site admin. Since you are not you have nothing meaningful to add.

“Try to help fellow users out”? Oh do shush. You have done nothing but talk out of the back of your neck.

    Go away

    • ” disabling security software”

Personally, I’ve done none of that at the browser or client level.

As far as nothing meaning to add? Directing my fellow users how to use this site effectively is meaningful to them.

What are you doing that is “meaningful”?

      Also, “Geio restrictions”?

As an actual IT security professional (amongst other things), please stop trying to impersonate someone who knows much of anything. If you DID, know you could solve the issues that you’re encountering yourself. This isn’t rocket surgery.

Instead, you seem to struggle with some really basic stuff like making incorrect assumptions, not being able to verify if a link is actually working, and reply to the right thread.

You are good at rants, though!

I will, however, continue to post what I do and how I want to unless someone with some actual authority tells me otherwise? Kthxbai.

  5. “As an actual IT security professional ”
    HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

  6. Actually. “an actual IT security professional ” would know what geo restrictions are and how they work, would know they have nothing to do with bloated popups hiding malicious content and would also be able to spot a simple typing error, the picking up of which is a tiny, petty little dig.

And again I point to the fact that all the adware and malware carrying popups and overlays on that referrer have been disabled and removed since I raised flags for the actual admin of the site and not some wannabe with a rahrah site support fetish. Though i still think the other referrers, which are benign, should be used in preference.

Off you jog, sunshine. We have nothing to discuss.
