I don’t know why you decided to not encode in 5.1 Atmos for this one? Also in some other releases I notice that they are able to encode in truehd atmos 7.1 like BITOR group and way before RARBG in under 20 GB. I am curious do you have hardware limitation to not rencode in true hd atmos?
I never actually encode 5.1 atmos (from 7.1 atmos), I just took it directly from source, if the source doesn’t have it, then I will not include it.
RARBG and BITOR just put untouched files in their releases, something that I’m not willing to do (lossless audio on low-bitrate video doesn’t make sense to me)
Thank you for explaining the difference. I am just a noob trying to understand quality difference between various releases and trying to understand encoding.
final cut vs ultimate cut?

The Final Unrated Cut (this post), originally released in 2007, is the longest version of the movie. In 2014, the director decided to remove some stuff and released it as The Ultimate Cut, which is 8 minutes shorter.
The Ultimate Cut included additional scenes of Alexander’s last moments and the politics that ensued amongst his generals regarding what will happen. It removed the war room meeting scenes where all the top generals of Alexander gathered to deliberate and contemplate on strategies and moral before the war of Guatemala.
