(You deleted the same question minutes ago although i didn’t say anything offensive. Is this how you treat your fans and supporters?!) Hi, before i asked you this question believe me i searched Google a lot and i couldn’t find a straight answer. So that’s why i asked you because you’re an encoder, a great one actually, so you understand everything videos playback related. I want to buy a new CPU to run the 4k encodes. Should i look for the number of cores or threads? and what is the lowest number to handle 4k videos without the CPU going 100% usage ?

Go for AMD Ryzen 2400G. 4 core 8 Threads. Comes with inbuilt GPU. This CPU Handles all 4K HDR Videos. I’m using it for 2 years.
Best option for limited budget.
